The Library
Our Founding Fathers were far ahead of their time. They were inventors, writers, philosophers, and entrepreneurs. In the spirit of advancing ones own person through self education, here is the "Library" of the Grandsons of Liberty. It will contain texts relating to the underlying concepts of Liberty. Books I personally think are great:
1984 - George Orwell (Goes without saying)
Brand New World - Aldous Huxley (Goes without saying)
The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand (a personal favorite; It's about a man and his indomitable will.)
Anthem - Ayn Rand (short novella that can be read in an afternoon, but powerful message about what personal freedom means)

There's one passage in particular that sticks out to me.
" Life, faculties, production–in other words, individuality, liberty, property —this is man. And in spite of the cunning of artful political leaders, these three gifts from God precede all human legislation, and are superior to it.
Life, liberty, and property do not exist because men have made laws. On the contrary, it was the fact that life, liberty, and property existed beforehand that caused men to make laws in the first place."

"That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."
